  Beautiful log cabin restaurant. Great ambiance. We were seated quickly but waited for 45 minutes and no server came by. Restaurant was mostly empty at the time. Not sure what happened but we ended up leaving without being attended to. Heard great things from other customers about the food, will definitely be trying again.

  We came in after lunch, but before dinner. We were seated quickly and our waitress was very attentive. She also warmed up some baby food for our 10 month old (Something I wouldn't ask for if it had been busy.).
  The kids had a selection off the children's menu (activity sheet with crayons). We ordered the Beef Stew with Corn Bread and Clam Chowder in a Bread Bowl. The chowder was delicious and the stew was fantastic! My son finished his corndog, tried a bite of the stew and then ate half the bowl! He's not a stew fan typically. I'm glad the portion was big enough to share!
  Outside is a collection of logging equipment and memorabilia and a large array of wooden statues. Fun to take pictures with. We will definitely stop by here again!

  Its the only big eat'n spot along 26 near Cannon beach that I know of, and while its setup a touristy with gift shop and lots of very large old logging equipment, the service and food were good. Our breakfast was above average, good coffee with refills and get the biscuits, they are the highlight of the meal. The small river that flows right behind makes a very scenic view from some tables. A fireplace table is also good to warm up. Recommend. Most breakfast meals $12

  Fast and friendly service. Food was hot and filling. One order breakfast chicken fried steak, one order lunch chicken fried steak and a cheese burger order. All were large portions. No complaints. Finished the meal with a cinnamon rolls. It's a definite must.
